Theater

Artist.

Actor-Creator.

Hi! I am Kāli Quinn (she/they)…

How do we cultivate Compassionate Creativity for ourselves & our communities?

Within my artistic expression, I focus is on finding the movement of grief and remembering the intergenerational wisdom written upon our bones.

Mourn. Tend. Mend. Adorn.

I do this through creating:

I share these acts of Compassionate Creativity within medical, business, university, and local communities and then together we cook up ways to take better care of ourselves & our relationships.

In 2016, I wrote, published and recorded my teaching memoir, I Am Compassionate Creativity, and read it aloud on a 12,000-mile national tour. There are 111 stories connected to 111 values.

I have taught at MIT, Duke University, Brown University, Wake Forest, Lehigh; performed Off-Off Broadway and throughout the US - along with communities in Guatemala, El Salvador, Brazil, and Italy.

I now live & love & create in what is colonially referred to as Bisbee, Southeastern Arizona* - located within Sky Islands of the Sonoran Desert.

*On the ancestral land and territories of the Opata, Chiricahua Apache, Tohoho O’odham, & Clovis People.

*11 miles from the US-Mexico “border.”
